The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Inspector General (OIG) has issued a Special Fraud Alert for warn Medicare Advantage Organizations (MAOs), health care professionals (HCPs) and others about fraud and abuse risk associated with certain marketing arrangements.
