The Joint Commission (TJC) has announced the launch of a new initiative, Survey Analysis For Evaluating STrengths, or SAFEST™, designed to formally acknowledge the performance strengths of accredited healthcare organizations.

According to TJC, the SAFEST initiative is a component of Accreditation 360: The New Standard and is intended to provide more balanced feedback to accredited organizations and to develop a catalog of quality and safety solutions based on the success stories of peers.
