In the Calendar Year (CY) 2026 Physician Fee Schedule (PFS) Final Rule, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) finalized several changes to the Medicare Diabetes Prevention Program (MDPP) aimed toward increasing participation and access, empowering beneficiaries, and promoting further alignment between MDPP and the CDC Diabetes Prevention Recognition Program Standards (DPRP).
