As a part of the CY 2026 Home Health Prospective Payment System final rule the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has finalized significant changes to the DMEPOS accreditation program, effective January 1, 2026.

Frequency of Surveys and Reaccreditation:
